Đi Mỹ diện K-1 trải qua 2 giai đoạn chính:
1- Người bảo lãnh nộp hồ sơ lên Sở di trú và chờ duyệt. Thời gian trung bình 1 năm
2- Sở di trú chấp thuận hồ sơ và chuyển sang Trung tâm visa (NVC). Sau đó khoảng 1-2 tháng, NVC sẽ chuyển hồ sơ về lãnh sự quán nơi người được bảo lãnh cư trú.
Người được bảo lãnh hoàn thành đơn DS-160, đóng lệ phí phỏng vấn và đặt cuộc hẹn phỏng vấn.
Checklist for K-1 petition
- Fee for Form I-129F (currently $535)
- Signed form I-129F and form G-1145
- Two color photo of petitioner
- Two color photo of beneficiary
- Proof of the U.S citizenship of petitioner: birth certificate or citizenship certificate and Evidence of legal name change (if applicable);
- Proof that you two are legal to marry: divorce or previous marriage termination
- Proof that the two of you have met in person during the two years immediately before filing this petition
- Proof that the two of you truly intend to marry
- Copy of Beneficiary’s Birth Certificate and translation;
- Signed letter for timeline of love story between U.S petitioner and Fiancée;
- Other evidence of bona fide relationship: Boarding passes, calls and messages; photos taken together; Gifts and money transferring; Hotel bills, Jewelry bills, etc.
- If the U.S petitioner has ever been convicted of certain crimes, even if the records were sealed or otherwise cleared, they must submit certified copies of police and court records showing the outcome
